TIñA I FEEL FINE (SOLO LIVE)

South London band Tiña are set to release their debut album Positive Mental Health Music on golden indie label Speedy Wunderground. A cathartic and honest emotional release, the 11 tracks on the LP, Josh explains, were used to "work through a mental breakdown". From the forthcoming album, singer Josh Loftin has released live, solo versions of tracks 'Rooster', and debut single 'I Feel Fine'. 'I Feel Fine (solo live)' is an acoustic, stripped back take, released alongside a performance video that shows Josh in his element, characterised by the colour pink. Josh is surrounded by, and draped in bubblegum pink clothing as he performs the song on acoustic guitar; a particularly good instrument for cathartic release. Lyrically, the song is open and honest ('the only time I feel fine is when I'm writing it down'), as well as absurd ('dicks in the sky, vaginas in my mind'). A great song like 'I Feel Fine' can stand being stripped back to it's acoustic bones and still resonate something powerful. -Ellie Rose-Davies
